These hourglass gauntlets are inspired by originals from the early 15th century. Hourglass gauntlets are particularly well-suited for those who require a high degree of wrist movement and flexibility in combat. These fully articulated gauntlets are crafted from riveted 18-gauge steel and are fully wearable. They are narrow at the wrist and flare out towards the fingers and forearm, creating the distinctive hourglass shape. The gauntlets are riveted to leather gloves and feature an additional leather strap across the palm for extra strength and grip. The fingers and thumbs are protected by an extra layer of hardened leather, which not only provides additional protection but also prevents wear and chafing of the suede glove.

This armour is 1 mm thick and suitable for LARP battles, costumes and cosplay.
When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
