This doublet is based on 16th century originals depicted on Flemish, Dutch, Spanish and English paintings. Similar doublets were used all over Europe during the 16th century. They were popular during the Tudor period and the Eighty years war. They were worn by both citizens and soldiers. This doublet is available in the colours black, red and brown.
