Product description

Similar hats were worn worldwide between the 17th and 18th centuries. The hat protected against the sun and the raised brim did not hinder the sight. That is why this model was ideal for seamen, pirates, privateers and of course the land army. Helmets were worn less in the 17th century, and many soldiers wore hats instead. Of course, this type of hat was also used by citizens.

This hat is made of 100% wool and is decorated with a feather. It is suitable for a head circumference of 59-61 cm.
