Product description

Many Winchester-style strap end fittings have been preserved from Anglo-Saxon England, dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries. These strap ends are characterized by their intricate filigree work and often feature openwork designs, showcasing the craftsmanship of the period.

This Anglo-Saxon strap end replica measures 4 x 1.9 cm and is designed for belts up to 2 cm wide. It is made of high-quality bronze.

For fastening, the strap end replica features two 8 mm pins on the back, inspired by documented Viking Age examples. To attach, slightly bend the pin tips using round-nosed pliers, then tap them flat with a hammer for secure fixing.
