Classes in LARP & fantasy worlds

In the world of fantasy, characters are divided into races and classes. Almost all races can become all classes, although certain races are better suited to certain classes than others. For example, Gnomes are not the best fighters. However, when you create a character you can combine all races and classes as you like.

Fighters are experienced warriors who devote their lives to mastering the art of combat. Many are mercenaries, knights, or heroic peasants who took up arms to defend their village.

Druid

Druids are primal spellcasters who channel the ancient magic of the natural world. They can shapeshift to animals and control nature by magic. Many have spent a life of hermitry in the wilderness, protecting their sacred groves.

Wizard

Wizards are powerful spellcasters who devote their life to the study of magic. Many are prestigious scholars of arcane secrets, or respected royal advisors.

Cleric

Clerics are holy spellcasters who devote themselves to the will of their gods. Many are the acolytes of holy temples, or village leaders who guide with their wisdom.

Ranger

Rangers are lone warriors who stalk the wilderness to protect civilization from monstrous threats. Many of them take other rangers and beasts as their companions, though some prefer to hunt alone.

Paladin

Paladins are charismatic holy warriors who uphold the law and relentlessly enforce the will of their gods. They are often knights-errant sent out on divine missions to root out evil and corruption.

Barbarian

Barbarians are savage warriors who become unstoppable in their brutal berserker rage. Many come from a tribal background, or escaped their lives as gladiators in cruel fighting pits.

Rogue

Rogues are cunning warriors who scout and attack from the shadows. They are cutthroats, thieves, and graverobbers who know how to handle guard patrols, traps and locked doors.

Sorcerer

Sorcerers are powerful spellcasters who draw upon the innate magic of their bloodline. Many are the far descendants of dragons, fiends or vampires.

Bard

Bards are cunning spellcasters who channel magic through their music and silver tongues. Many are wandering troubadours or court jesters, who know the world of feudal politics like the back of their hand.

Monk

Monks are spiritual warriors who devote themselves to martial arts. They have trained their entire lives in hidden monasteries, learning to harness their body and soul for use in battle.

Warlock

Warlocks are cunning spellcasters who have made a pact with an otherworldly being in return for powerful magic. They are often secretive scholars of dark magic, or commoners who once called out to the universe for help.
