The bull is an important animal in the Viking and Celtic culture. In Celtic culture, the bull stood for aggressiveness, assertiveness and fertility. These were essential values in life for the Celts. On high holidays, Celts sacrificed a white bull to please the gods, so that they made the land fertile.
