Chain mail like this was worn by both the 9th century Vikings and the 13th century crusaders. This chainmail is made of flat rings, which are alternately pinched and riveted with round rivets. The rings are made of mild steel and are woven together in a 4:1 construction. This means that 1 ring is attached to 4 other rings. When measuring your size, wear the underwear you want to wear under the chain mail. If you want to wear the chainmail with gambeson, wear your gambeson while measuring. The chest circumference in the size chart is the wearer's maximum chest circumference, including underwear.

Which size hauberk should I choose?
When you wear a gambeson, your breast circumference is around 15 cm larger.
When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
