Chaperons of this type were worn throughout feudal Europe, offering protection to the head, neck and shoulders from rain and cold. They were worn by people from all classes in society and both sexes.The chaperon is crafted from 70% wool, features a medium length tip, and the bottom is flared. This chaperon has been hand-dyed.
