Product description
This classic chaperon model is a great addition to your reenactment, LARP or living history outfit. This low priced but fine model is made of cotton so perfect for a spring or autumn day and for wet days. During windy days it keeps the cold out of your neck. The hood also provides extra warmth when you wear it in your sleeping bag during camps and festivals. Chaperons have been worn since Roman times and the chaperons were worn differently in each historical period. This chaperon is typical for the Viking age and the Middle Ages. It has a short hood and protects the neck and head from cold. The chaperon was a medieval and Viking headdress that was worn by all classes of society. So you can use a chaperon for all types of outfits, and decorate it yourself if required.
