Product description

This breastplate is made in the style of the famous mid 14th century suit of armor of Churburg castle in the north of Italy. It consists of a main plate that protects the front of the torso, and smaller articulated plates that cover the sides. The Churburg suit of armor is representative of the plate armor style of northern Italy in the middle to late 14th century. It was not a full plate design like the styles of the 15th century, instead the plate armor pieces were intended to be worn over a full hauberk and provide additional protection for the chest and the arms. The chestplate has a steel thickness of 1,6 mm, making it suitable for reenactment battles. Due to its construction it can be adjusted to your size easily.
