Product description

The Pickelhaube is a Prussian helmet that was designed in 1842 by Frederik-Willem the 4thof Prussia. After his son Willem had become emperor of the German Empire it was worn by the German militaries, firefighters and the police. It became most known as the German helmet of World War I.

This is a replica of a Prussian cuirassier helmet from 1889. At the front a Prussian eagle is attached with the text ?Mit Gott für König und Vaterland?. The helmet has a leather inlay to adjust it t the right size and is suitable for a head circumference up to 64 cm. It weighs approx. 1,2 kg.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
