Oil lamps like this were used from the 1st century AD on all over the Roman Empire. The oil lamp was the most important source of artificial lighting. Nowadays oil lamps like this are part of the collections of i.a. the Landesmuseum in Trier, the British Museum in London and the Allard Pierson museum in Amsterdam.
Olive oil was originally used as a fuel, but of course this oil lamp can also be used with modern lamp oil. This oil lamp is completely handmade with two different moulds. It was subsequently baked in a temperature of 1200 degrees °C. It measures 26 x 12 cm.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
