Product description
Drinking horns were already in use from Classical Antiquity to the Middle Ages. The function varied over time, and people often drank from a horn during festivities and rituals. During the Early Middle Ages the Vikings, Franks, Germans and Merovingen used the drinking horn. They are also depicted in visual art, for example on tapestries, illuminated manuscripts and murals. This horn is made from polished natural horn.
