This belt fitting is based on a 10th century original excavated in Gokstad, Norway. This luxurious fitting is very detailed. It was part of a ship burial where a.o. tents, horses and even three smaller ships were excavated.
This three part belt fitting is made of bronze. It is suitable for belts with a width up to 4 cm. The buckle measures 6 x 4,5 x 1 cm. The closing measures 4,5 x 2 x 1,5 cm and the belt end measures 7 x 4 x 0,2 cm.
