Product description
This bell is hand-forged after historical originals. Bells like this were used from the Middle Ages to around the eighteenth century. This bell is a smaller design of approx. 12 cm. Bells are mainly associated with church bells, but smaller bells such as this were hung behind the door in a store to hear people coming in. People also used bells to keep order, for example in the classroom. A great addition to your historic interior, for museums and re-enactors.
This bell has a ring at the top, so you can hang it with a cord so that it makes a sound when swinging back and forth.
