This samurai suit of armor is a replica of an original worn by Takeda Shingen between 1521-1573. Takeda Shingen was the daimyo of Kai and one of the most powerful men during the Sengoku Jidai period in the Japanese history. He fought many battles with Uesugi Kenshin, daimyo of Echigo, under which the famous battle at Kawanakajima. This suit of armor is completely functional. It is delivered including a traditional wooden armor box and an armor stand.
