Let's be honest, padded fencing jackets take up a lot of space in your gear bag! Moreover, they often provide more protection than necessary in situations where that level of protection isn't required. Over the years, we've seen numerous people augment their sweatshirts and hoodies with forearm, elbow, and throat protection for light sparring. Well, now you don't have to! Our stylish Light Sparring Hoodies feature integrated foam pads on the shoulders/upper arms and elbows/forearms. These pads can be removed for washing or when you simply don't need the protection they provide. The collar has a blade catcher and an integrated plastic throat protector with foam padding to absorb impact. It is securely fastened with Velcro and is also removable. The long zipper is reinforced with a press stud at the top and bottom, and the hood can also be unzipped and removed if necessary. The hoodies have reinforced elbow patches and zip pockets. This item is not puncture-proof and does not have a Newton rating. It is designed for light, controlled sparring and should not be used for full-contact or steel weapons.

When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
