Our Red Dragon HEMA Sparring Jacket is specifically designed for HEMA and is made of heavy-duty cotton with a 350N rating and features an inner lining. The jacket is well-padded to absorb strikes but lacks padding on the back because it's extremely rare to receive effective blows there. This results in reduced weight of the jacket and improved breathability. The front panel with a zipper overlaps to provide a double layer of protection against thrusts to the torso. This sparring jacket also includes an innovative built-in gorget, designed to overlap the bib of a fencing mask to prevent thrusts from traveling upward from beneath the bib. The gorget features a padded plastic plate to protect the throat and adjustable Velcro straps that allow it to be attached either at the back of the collar or at the back of the shoulders. The gorget can also be worn under the bib of the mask if desired. The back of the jacket features an adjustable webbing strap with Velcro attachment, allowing it to be tightened at the waist for a more streamlined fit.

When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
