Product description

Many historical peoples wore a horsehair tail on their helmets, including: the Greeks, Roman auxiliae and Celts wore the hair in a ponytail at the tip of the helmet. With this horsehair you can also make a helmet crest like the horsehair the ancient Greeks and Romans often wore. An original of such a crest was found near Hadrian's Wall in Northern England.
