This early medieval belt fitting is made after an original excavated in Hungary. It is made in the art style of the Magyar people of the Eastern European steppes. This style was transported to the Baltic Sea between the 9th and 10th century and even influenced the Viking art style via trade.
This belt fitting is made of zamak and measures 2 x 4,5 cm. It is suitable for belts with a width up to 2 cm.
