A distinctive gift. The jewellery box is handcrafted from wood and the interior is covered with red fabric, making it particularly well-suited to storing special jewellery. The Vegvisir is a symbol from the Icelandic Huld manuscript, a 19th-century occult book of spells. Vegvisir means: that which shows the way. Anyone who wore this magical symbol would not get lost during a storm. It is not known whether the early medieval Vikings were familiar with this symbol. However, in modern Viking culture and amongst neo-pagans it plays an important role and has been given a new context.
