These leg pieces are made after various historical originals. They are depicted on the tombs of Günther von Schwarzburg (1349) and Sir Thomas Cheyne (1375) and can be worn by both late 14th-century aristocracy and commoners. Leather armor combined with steel plates was a relatively simple way to create armor components. They were often worn over chainmail. From the 15th century onwards, this method gradually fell out of use. This leg armor is made from 1.4 mm thick steel and suede leather. They are equipped with leather straps to secure them around the leg. Optionally, you can make holes at the top to attach them to a belt around the waist. Since the leg armor is made of leather, it can be easily adjusted for a better fit.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
