Product description

This bag contains replicas of several coins that were used in medieval England.
Edward I - Groat William I - Penny King John - Penny Henry VI - Halgroat Edward 111 - Quarter Noble (gold)
For most of the inhabitants of medieval England, the depiction on the coin was the only way they could ever see the king's face. Rulers often let theirselves be depicted as devote, noble combative leaders. The back of the coin regularly depicted a cross, this served to split the coin.
These coins are made of patinated pewter.
