Product description
Armin is a medieval headwear for men. It is available in three sizes to accommodate almost any head size. We recommend embellishing the "Armin" hat individually, for example with a braid, feather or brooch. As for the history of this headgear, it is a further development of the so-called "Pillbox" and is referred to as the Italian Barrett. It was mainly worn in southern Europe by townspeople & wealthy citizens from the late Middle Ages to the Renaissance. While the youth tended to wear the cap to the side, cardinals and higher-ranking personalities, for example, wore it upwards (see the Doge of Venice).
