This is a replica of Hans Talhoffer's buckler. A sturdy Gothic buckler, where the octagonal shape offers advantages in combat. Ideal for HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) and reenactment.
This buckler (43 x 28 cm) is hand crafted from 16 gauge mild steel. The buckler has a metal handle that is reinforced with a wooden covering for a better grip. The design is historically inspired and carefully detailed.
