Product description
Chaperons like this were worn from the thirteenth century to approx. the beginning of the sixteenth century in Western Europe. This chaperon is two-colored, or mi-parti, this was a fashion trend. Also the bottom is entirely according to the High and Late Medieval fashion with a block edge or Zaddeln.
It protects the head from dirt, but also keeps your head warm against strong winds, cold and rain. It is also nice to wear the hood during cold nights, it will keep your head and neck warm. It has a long point at the back. This reaches to approx. halfway the back.
