Product description
This shoulder bag is based on images in medieval illuminated manuscripts and stained glass windows. Shoulder bags were a common type of bag during the Middle Ages and were a good alternative to the smaller pouches or belt bags. People could store more things in shoulder bags, this was especially useful if someone went on a long journey such as a pilgrimage. Even in everyday life it was sometimes useful to carry a larger bag, for example farmers took food with them when they went to work on the land. Pilgrims decorated their bags with pilgrim badges. This bag is made of sturdy cotton and perfect for medieval re-enactment, LARP and Cosplay. The 6 cm wide strap is decorated with a beautiful braid pattern. The bag also has three decorative tassels at the bottom.
