Description
The cingulum is a Roman belt worn by legionaries in the Roman army. The belt held up the trousers, but with its beautiful decorations it was also a sign of military achievement and high rank. The apron, consisting of 5 leather bands, has brass pteruges and ends with a pensilia. The belt is a full replica of an original in the Roman Museum in Mainz. The cingulum fittings, buckle, pugio holder, pteruges and pensilia are exact replicas of the original cingulum. The belt is made of sturdy 3 mm thick leather and has a suede lining to protect your tunic. A perfect accessory for Roman reenactment, living history, LARP and Cosplay.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
