Description
The cingulum is a Roman belt worn by legionaries in the Roman army. The belt held up the trousers or braccae, but with its beautiful decorations it was also a symbol of military achievement and high rank. The apron, consisting of 4 leather bands, has brass pteruges and ends with a pensilia. The square plates on the belt alternately show a human face and the wolf feeding the twins Romus and Remus. In Roman mythology, these are the founders of the city of Rome, a suitable decoration for someone of high rank who wanted to follow in the footsteps of these heroes. This belt also has a buckle and a pugio suspension.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
