In Roman times, the dolphin was associated with Neptunus, god of the sea, and Apollo, the sun god. The early Christians saw the dolphin as a symbol of faith, since many early saints were rescued by dolphins. This pendant is made of gold plated pewter.

3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
