Product description

This diploma is a replica of an original from 107 AD excavated in Weißenburger, Bavaria.

The coveted military diploma is a prove that the owner has acquired Roman citizenship. He acquired it by serving in the Roman army for a period of usually 25 years.

The military diploma contains the name of the emperor whom the person served. Followed by the legion in which he served and the commander. Subsequently it describes the acknowledgement of the Roman citizenship for the owner of this diploma and his family. Diplomas were originally made of bronze.

This replica is made of plaster alabaster. It measures 16 x 12,5 cm and contains an eye on the back for hanging it to a wall.
