This drinking horn is engraved with the symbol of Scotland, the rampant lion. The rampant lion has been the symbol of Scotland since the 12th century, it was originally the heraldry of King William The lion of Scotland. The early 14th century king Robert The Bruce also used the rampant lion as his heraldry. This drinking horn is handmade from a real ox horn. Avoid dishwashers and hot drinks. Wash under running water before use. Treat with beeswax after each use for longer life.
