Product description
The Scottish kilt is the national symbol of the Scotsman since the 18th century. The kilt developed from the ancient Scottish costume of the leine, brat and ionar.
The tartan is the famous Scottish plaid fabric in which alternating colored rows of threads are interwoven. This material has been worn throughout history in Scotland, also the Celts were known to wear this material and the fabric was already known in Roman times for its quality and unique appearance. Centuries later the tartan became a symbol for certain clans.
This kilt is made of a heavy fabric and falls to just above the knee. You can close it with leather straps and buckles. The fabric is already pleated and the front has a double layer of fabric.
