This shield is decorated with the heraldry of king Robert the Bruce of Scotland. After years of campaigning this legendary king beat the English king Edward I at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314 and reclaimed Scottish independence. This shield is made of plywood and measures 69 x 41 cm.
