Product description
These Slavic rings are a replica of various Early Medieval originals. Rings like these were used by the Slavic, Germanic, Frankish and Alamanic people to weave in the hair. These rings were found in a.o. Germanic graves in southern Germany and were used well into the 12th century. The rings were often woven into the hair in pairs or even more at the temples. Hence the name 'temple ring'. These rings are an early medieval form of hair decoration.
