Product description

This river stone pendant is made in the shape of Cernunnos and is based on the image of Cernunnos on the Gundestrup cauldron. This dates from the 2nd or 1st century BC. (La Tene period) and can now be seen in the National Museum of Denmark. Cernunnos, a prominent god in Celtic mythology, is often associated with fertility, nature and the animal kingdom. Depicted as a god with antlers, Cernunnos symbolizes the power and cyclical nature of life. He is often interpreted as a god of abundance and prosperity.
