This burgonet is based on cavalry helmets that were worn during the period of the Tudor dynasty. Helmets like this were worn all over Europe, a.o. during the Eighty Years War. This type of helmet is typical for helmets that were worn by the well-known Border Reivers, cavalrists in the Scottish-English borders. They called the helmet steel bonnet. This helmet is made of 1,3 mm thick steel, is suitable for a head circumference up to 62 cm and is delivered including a gorget.

Choosing the size that fits you best
Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.

3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
