Product description

This turtle brooch is a replica of a 9th century piece found in Dorestad (Wijk bij Duurstede), the Netherlands. The turtle brooch was probably imported from Sweden. Similar brooches were worn during the Vendel period in Scandinavia. This turtle brooch is 6,3 x 3 x 1,1 cm large. It can be easily worn using the pin at the back.
