Surcoats were often worn in the Holy Land, not only against the heat but also for recognising fellow Templars.
The surcoat has been crafted after historical examples, constructed from wool and lined with cotton. A split at the front and the back permits it to be worn with ease whilst on horseback.
The surcoat has a length of 131 cm. It has been designed for a chest circumference of 130 cm and a head with a max. circumference of 68 cm.
