This belt fitting is made after a historical find and can be used fort he decoration of belts, but also leather bags. It is bronze-coloured.
This belt fitting is made after a fitting excavated in the Viking town of Chernikov, Ukraine. It is a typical example of the Rusvik style of the eastern European Vikings, heavily influenced by the Magyars. During the second half of the eight century, the Vikings started to extensively use the river routest to penetrate deeper in to eastern Europe.
