This Viking belt fitting is made in the Borre art style (825-970) and is based on an original fitting excavated in the Viking trading town Birka. The fitting shows a mirrored knot and a triangular shape. It can also be used for decorating leather bags or even shoes. It measures 1,7 x 1,6 cm and is silver coloured or brass coloured.
