Product description

This Viking pendant is a replica of a 10th century original excavated in Staraja Ladoga in Russia. A similar original has been found in grave 6 in Zaozere along with Slavic temple rings. This type of jewelry was characteristic of the Vikings in the region of Finland. The finds in Russia make it clear that they were worn widely in the Viking world. In grave 6 they were found together with Slavic temple rings, this means that early medieval women wore both styles.
