This bracelet is a replica of several originals excavated all over the Viking world. Between the 9th and 11th century these bracelets were frequently used for making payments. A piece with the value of the transaction was chipped off. The silver was weighted and subsequently used for completing the transaction.
This bracelet is made of silvered bronze. It has a circumference of 6 mm and is suitable for an arm circumference of 14-17 cm.
