Product description
This detailed replica of a Viking tweezer is based on a historical find from the 9th or 10th century. Viking tweezers were commonly used for personal grooming and hygiene during this period and were an essential part of women's toiletry sets.
The tweezers measure 8.5 x 1 cm with the ring, or 7.5 cm without it. They are made of high-quality bronze. The tweezer has an eyelet for wearing them as a pendant or accessory on the belt.
Tweezers have been used since the Bronze Age for personal care, and in ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Rome, they were even considered medical instruments. Vikings often wore their tweezers, along with other grooming tools, attached to a long chain or leather strap on their brooches, keeping them easily accessible at hip level.
