The so-called Norman shield was originally meant for equestrians, but it became popular among infantrymen because it protected the foreleg. The shield is associated with the Normans who are depicted using this type of shield on the Bayeux Tapestry.
This shield is made of 10 mm thick wood and is covered with linen. The linen is glued to the wood and painted white so that it can easily be painted with your desired colours. At the back it has a belt for wearing, arm straps and padding. The shield has a height of 131 cm, a width of 56 cm and it weighs approx. 2,9 kg.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
